In the book of Acts, we meet Barnabas, an incredible example of a Christian mentor. When no one else trusted Paul after his conversion, Barnabas believed in him, encouraged him, and prepared him for ministry. Over time, Paul’s influence grew so much that by Acts 13:13, their names were no longer listed as “Barnabas and Paul,” but rather “Paul and Barnabas.” Barnabas played a crucial role in mentoring Paul to go further than he did.
Some of us are called to be like Barnabas and invest in others to strengthen them in their calling, and to guide them toward growth in ministry. Just as others have helped us in different seasons of our lives, we have the privilege of doing the same. Through encouragement, teaching, and equipping, we can help the next generation of leaders stand firm in their purpose.
The Barnabas Project™ is the framework I developed to help churches develop healthy, sustainable worship ministries. Inspired by the biblical model of Barnabas who encouraged, trained, and equipped Paul for ministry this system is designed to identify potential, build structure, and release leaders who serve with clarity and authority.
Most worship ministries struggle with:
The Barnabas Project™ addresses each of these challenges head-on.
The Barnabas Project™ is designed to create lasting change in your worship ministry. When the right systems, training, and leadership development are in place, you’ll see more than just smoother Sundays—you’ll see a healthier team and a stronger culture of worship.
This isn’t about a quick fix. It’s about building a ministry that can grow, thrive, and stand the test of time.
